The project involved subdividing a large open plan office area to create a series of single glazed private meeting rooms and dedicated office spaces. Acoustic Glass for Enhanced Privacy
To achieve improved acoustic performance, we installed 12.8mm acoustic laminated glass throughout the partition system. This specialist glass helps reduce noise transmission between rooms, creating a more comfortable and productive working environment without sacrificing natural light.
By retaining visual connectivity across the office while improving sound insulation, the client was able to enjoy the best of both worlds – open, light filled spaces combined with enhanced privacy and reduced workplace distractions.
Contemporary Black Slimline Framework
The glass partitions were installed using a sleek black slimline aluminium framework, creating a modern aesthetic that complements the office's contemporary interior design.
The slimline profiles provide a clean, minimal appearance while delivering the strength and durability required for a busy commercial environment. The contrasting black framework adds definition to the glazed elevations, creating a striking architectural feature throughout the office.
Premium Slimline Aluminium Door Frames with Glass Doors
As part of the installation, we incorporated slimline aluminium door frames with glass doors finished to match the partition framework. Each door was fitted with high quality satin stainless steel 600mm D-handles, providing a stylish contrast against the black framing.
The doors were also equipped with self-closing side-hung hinges to ensure smooth operation and improved functionality within the workplace.
For areas requiring additional security, selected doors were fitted with rebated centre patch locks, allowing the client to securely lock private offices and meeting rooms when necessary.
Transforming an Open-Plan Office
The completed installation successfully transformed what was previously a large open-plan office into a more versatile and efficient office workspace. The newly created meeting rooms and private offices provide dedicated areas for focused work, confidential conversations, video conferencing, and team collaboration.
