Bespoke Glass Partitions Transform a Tynemouth Home
We recently completed this stunning residential glass partition project in Tynemouth, North East England, creating two distinct glass features within the property while maintaining a bright, open and contemporary feel throughout the home.
The project incorporated a bespoke first floor home office glass partition alongside a striking ground floor hallway and kitchen divide, combining frameless style glass design and crittall style glazing with carefully selected black ironmongery and detailing.

Bespoke Glass Home Office
On the first floor, we created a dedicated home office area using a bespoke glass partition and glass door.
The aim was to create a separate workspace while retaining the feeling of openness and allowing natural light to flow through the surrounding area.
A particularly distinctive feature of this installation was the use of black dry joints, providing a crisp, contemporary appearance and adding an extra level of detail to the finished glass partition.
The office entrance incorporated a glass door with self-closing side-hung hinges, together with guardsman T-handles. All ironmongery was finished in black, creating a consistent look across the entire installation.
Crittall Style Glass Door & Side Screen for a Kitchen & Hallway
On the ground floor, we created a stunning hallway to kitchen glass divide, incorporating an industrial style glass door and adjoining side screen.
The full crittall effect design gives the installation a strong architectural character, introducing a traditional industrial inspired aesthetic while still feeling perfectly at home within this modern residential setting.
The black framed crittall style appearance was complemented by matching black ironmongery, including the self-closing side-hung hinges and Guardsman T-handles.
The result is a beautifully defined separation between the hallway and kitchen without creating a dark or enclosed space.
